چکیده

A graph G with no isolated vertex is total domination vertex critical if for any vertex v of G that is not adjacent to a vertex of degree one, the total domination number of G− v is less than the total domination number of G. These graphs we call γt-critical. If such a graph G has total domination number k, we call it k-γt-critical. We characterize the connected graphs with minimum degree one that are γt-critical and we obtain sharp bounds on their maximum diameter. We calculate the maximum diameter of a k-γt-critical graph for k ≤ 8 and provide an example which shows that the maximum diameter is in general at least 5k/3−O(1).

On the diameter of total domination vertex critical graphs

In this paper, we consider various types of domination vertex critical graphs, including total domination vertex critical graphs and independent domination vertex critical graphs and connected domination vertex critical graphs. We provide upper bounds on the diameter of them, two of which are sharp. MSC (2010): 05C12, 05C69

The diameter of total domination and independent domination vertex-critical graphs

We show that the diameter of a total domination vertex-critical graph is at most 5(γt −1)/3, and that the diameter of an independent domination vertex-critical graph is at most 2(i− 1). For all values of γt ≡ 2 (mod 3) there exists a total domination vertex-critical graph with the maximum possible diameter. For all values of i ≥ 2 there exists an independent domination vertex-critical graph wit...

A Note on Total Domination Critical Graphs

The total domination number of G denoted by γt(G) is the minimum cardinality of a total dominating set of G. A graph G is total domination vertex critical or just γt-critical, if for any vertex v of G that is not adjacent to a vertex of degree one, γt(G − v) < γt(G). If G is γt-critical and γt(G) = k, then G is k-γt-critical. Haynes et al [The diameter of total domination vertex critical graphs...

Total double Roman domination in graphs

Let $G$ be a simple graph with vertex set $V$. A double Roman dominating function (DRDF) on $G$ is a function $f:Vrightarrow{0,1,2,3}$ satisfying that if $f(v)=0$, then the vertex $v$ must be adjacent to at least two vertices assigned $2$ or one vertex assigned $3$ under $f$, whereas if $f(v)=1$, then the vertex $v$ must be adjacent to at least one vertex assigned $2$ or $3$. The weight of a DR...

Total domination in $K_r$-covered graphs

The inflation $G_{I}$ of a graph $G$ with $n(G)$ vertices and $m(G)$ edges is obtained from $G$ by replacing every vertex of degree $d$ of $G$ by a clique, which is isomorph to the complete graph $K_{d}$, and each edge $(x_{i},x_{j})$ of $G$ is replaced by an edge $(u,v)$ in such a way that $uin X_{i}$, $vin X_{j}$, and two different edges of $G$ are replaced by non-adjacent edges of $G_{I}$.
